Finality of Payment: All payments for EV charging sessions are final and non-refundable, except as explicitly provided in this policy.

Basis for Refund: Refunds will only be considered for failed, incomplete, or erroneous transactions caused by technical issues attributable to ChargeJet’s systems.

Ineligibility: Customers involved in misuse, fraudulent activity, or any violation of our Terms of Service are not eligible for refunds.

2. Eligible Scenarios for a Refund

You may request a refund in the following situations:
● Session Failure: The charging session does not initiate despite a successful payment.
● Technical Interruption: The session stops unexpectedly due to a system or network error on our side, and you are charged for energy that was not delivered.
● Duplicate Transaction: Multiple payments are deducted from your account for a single charging session.
● Application/System Error: Your payment is debited but the transaction is not reflected in your app account or on the charger.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
● Successful Session: The charging session was completed successfully.
● User-Caused Interruption: The session was interrupted by your actions (e.g., unplugging the cable, moving the vehicle, poor network connectivity on your personal device).
● Incorrect User Input: You entered incorrect details, such as the wrong charger ID.
● Additional Fees: Any applied idle time fees, parking charges, or penalties as per our stated policies.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:
● Timeline: Submit your request within 72 hours of the original transaction.
● Submission Channels: – Through the ChargeJet mobile application (via the Help & Support section). – Via email to support@chargejet.in. Please include all relevant transaction details: Date, Time, Amount, and Session ID.
● Processing: Validated refund requests will be processed within 7 to 10 business days.

5. Mode of Refund

● Primary Method: Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used for the transaction (e.g., UPI, Credit/Debit Card, Wallet, Net Banking).
● Alternative Method: If a direct reversal to the original payment method is not feasible, the refund amount may be credited to your ChargeJet Wallet balance.
